Galactography

Is liquid present in the breast? The mammary gland consists of various tissues. The fine mammary duct system can often only be depicted in poor quality with a mammogram. A galactography provides clarity in case of suspected carcinoma or papilloma in these glandular ducts. Radiologists can get detailed insights with a contrast agent that is injected directly into the suspicious area – which makes it possible to confirm or exclude the illness.
